Facebook Chopping Block - Are you next?
I have been reading a lot of various articles lately about Facebook. This came about due to my personal account being disabled. I was shocked that it would be, as I was not spamming anyone or violating what I understood the Terms of Service to be. It has come to my attention that Facebook has a lot of limits that many people feel they are unreasonable for a social network. Why don’t you hear a lot more about this? Well that would be because many peoples accounts have been disabled or permanently deleted. If you make too many posts to your wall or comments to responses, you risk being disabled. However exactly what those limits are, are yet to be defined. For example how many posts, comments etc can you make before running the risk of being disabled? No one knows exactly. If you type or post to fast you will be disabled. You are giving three warnings before they disable your account, but only three for the life of your account. So be very careful. If you have too many friends, or two many friends sharing similar qualities you risk being disabled. For a social network, networking is the underlying theme, people meet and communicate with one another. So be sure to keep a small amount of friends that have nothing in common on your account or you will be disabled. If you run applications such as games on Facebook, you will definitely run the risk of having your account disabled. If you run a group and post messages to the group members, you will run the risk of having your account disabled. If they disable your account, there are no guarantees that you will get it back and if you do receive an explanation to your numerous emails of asking why, you are one of the few. There are over 70 million people using Facebook, you are but one of many and in their opinion, you can be replaced. You are an audience for marketing programs, information sourcing and much more. If you would like to advertise on Facebook no problem, you can purchase a spot to reach the masses. However do not use your own voice to those you have as friends because that would be considered spam. On the Internet however, which is not limited, you can find many disgruntled voices of how Facebook has treated it members with its policies and it’s vague Terms of Service. They do provide a chat option to talk with your friends instead of posting comments. However if you have too many friends and try talking to them it can cause an overload and many people have complained of their computers “freezing up.” Group chats are not available and if you create on offsite one for your friends to get together. Facebook will announce, that it’s an unauthorized site. Many people do not realize that all sites that Facebook has no control over are considered to be unauthorized. I have run websites and do understand that there must be limits in all things. However for a social network to continue to offer its services to the masses it needs to meet the needs of its membership. If you don’t people will leave. But hey there are always more people so why listen to the requests of those currently holding a membership. Just delete those people or voices that don’t comply with the current standards. Easy enough! There is a new phrase, its called the “Facebook Police”, watch out for them or your will lose your social network. In a business capacity I would never rely on Facebook for any of my companies needs, as all your hard work, network, posts, advertisements can be deleted without notification or reasonable responses to your emails. But you can always start over with a new name and new account. So how will Facebook respond to this information, well they will probably disable my account so you don’t hear my voice and feed you misinformation about what the majority of its members truly want. Which is the limitations removed on posts, comments, types of friends you can have, and much more. When will Facebook listen to its members? Are you next?

What's New
Today I have been playing with some of the old pictures I have to create some unique cards. Hence the arrival of the Lil Diva Collection. I take the old picture, change it into a sketch through photoshop, stamp it, then color it up. These started out as pics of collector dolls that my girls have. Can't wait to do some of the grand baby too once he is up and running around. He is still too young to get him to pose for anything, lol. It would be a great way to create my own coloring books too! Add that to the list of many projects, lol.

I played with them some more, added text and such, themed them for Mother's day and birthday. I am really enjoying doing this style of artwork. Its alot of fun, so I will be creating many more as I go through the old picture box. Lots of great pics in there for all occassions, but I still have to upload them all. I never seem to have enough time these days to do it all. I am sure you know how I feel. Anyways,
To view the finished products take a look here at my zazzle store.

Digital Scrapbooking Supplies
With the arrival of my new grandson, I have a bit of the scrapbooking fever and as a result I have created more backgrounds then I could possibly ever use. So I thought I would share them with you all. They are free to use for commercial and/or personal use. Eventually I will share some clip art and embellishments, but for now you need to use your own, or search for other freebies on the net. I will be posting many more as time permits on my website freebies page. Hope you enjoy them! Here is the link:
