Updates

It's been awhile since I have written, life has been so busy for me. I am no longer in Ontario and the move to Alberta, Canada has been a wonderful adventure for me.

I have the new gallery ARTDzines which is dedicated to promoting other artists. My goal is to find and chose 10,000 pieces of artwork to be in the gallery and provide exposure for those chosen. Presently just over 1,000 pieces have been selected, with many more being selected daily.

In my personal work, I just started working on Taramymir and finally getting some of the images available on posters at zazzle. Lots to upload and tagging to do. The summer months have been awesome for me and I have tons of pictures to share. Taramymir has become a love for me in all its aspects from exploring and taking pictures to creating this fantasy style of work.

My old account @aloramyst on Twitter has been suspended for the time being .... I was overly ambitious and attempted to add too many friends and fans at once. They thought I was a spam bot and suspended the account.... so warning to others to build their Twitter accounts slowly. I have opened another Twitter account for the time being until they reinstate the old account, which I am hoping will be soon. If I do not hear back from Twitter promptly, I will rebuild my new account on there.

I am on Facebook as well. However that social media has its glitches too. It's been brought to my attention that people can no longer request my friendship on there as it will be denied, but I can however send out friend requests with no issues. Their programming identifies new people as strangers and will not allow others to befriend me.

I have done alot of travelling over the last year, hoping to get some time to do more artwork this winter. I am stocked up with all that I need for my creative energies to have a blast. Look forward to sharing it all as time permits.

What's New

Today I have been playing with some of the old pictures I have to create some unique cards. Hence the arrival of the Lil Diva Collection. I take the old picture, change it into a sketch through photoshop, stamp it, then color it up. These started out as pics of collector dolls that my girls have. Can't wait to do some of the grand baby too once he is up and running around. He is still too young to get him to pose for anything, lol. It would be a great way to create my own coloring books too! Add that to the list of many projects, lol.

I played with them some more, added text and such, themed them for Mother's day and birthday. I am really enjoying doing this style of artwork. Its alot of fun, so I will be creating many more as I go through the old picture box. Lots of great pics in there for all occassions, but I still have to upload them all. I never seem to have enough time these days to do it all. I am sure you know how I feel. Anyways,

To view the finished products take a look here at my zazzle store.

Digital Scrapbooking Supplies

With the arrival of my new grandson, I have a bit of the scrapbooking fever and as a result I have created more backgrounds then I could possibly ever use. So I thought I would share them with you all. They are free to use for commercial and/or personal use. Eventually I will share some clip art and embellishments, but for now you need to use your own, or search for other freebies on the net. I will be posting many more as time permits on my website freebies page. Hope you enjoy them! Here is the link:
